Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the April Writers Workshop Project meeting. The opening discussion was fascinating, and I enjoyed participating in critiques of several fine works-in-progress. I meet such interesting people in these workshops–and learn a great deal from them–plus marvel at Michael’s wonderful teaching style. I also like that the critique sessions are razor-sharp while being very positive and supportive of the writer.

Listening to a short presentation, participating in a writing excercise, and watching Michael apply the technique to his own writing was fascinating. He demonstrated effectively how changing point of view can improve a writer’s work. I also received important feedback on the project I am working on.
